This spring I sprained my left ankle. This injury reduced my physical activity but I found it was still beneficial to continue a level of massage. My therapist worked around the injury and no doubt helped promote healing by relaxing the muscles I had over used to compensate for my injured ankle. I consider regular massage an integral part of my health maintenance plan. “A couple of years ago I woke up one day and realized how out of control my life had gotten. My husband had been ill recently passed away. I had spent the previous 2 years taking care of him and my young daughter, working full time, and trying to be everything to everyone. I had gained a lot of weight and was overall just unhealthy. I decided it was time to take charge.
